1. Introduction

This policy describes how NeuroFuel collects, uses and protects your information when you use the website and the planner.

2. Data collected

2.1 Planning data

The weeks, clients and tasks you enter in the planner are stored only in your browser (local storage). They are never sent to our servers or to any third party. You can delete them at any time with the planner’s “Clear everything” button.

2.2 Audience measurement data

If you accept cookies, Google Analytics collects technical and browsing information:

• Truncated IP address and approximate location.
• Browser type and version.
• Pages visited, time spent, interactions with the interface.

2.3 Contact data

If you email us, we keep your address, your name if provided and the content of your message for as long as it takes to deal with your request.

3. How the data is used

• To provide and improve the planner.
• To understand how the website is used in order to improve the experience.
• To respond to your requests and feedback.
• To keep the website secure and comply with our legal obligations.

4. Google Analytics and consent

Google Analytics is only activated after you have given your explicit consent via the consent banner. Without consent, no audience measurement cookie is set.

The information collected is transmitted to and stored by Google, which may host it in the United States. Google uses it to compile reports on website usage. You can also block Google Analytics with the opt-out browser add-on.

You can change your choice at any time using the “Manage cookies” link at the bottom of the page.

5. Cookies and local storage

NeuroFuel uses:

• Your browser’s local storage to remember your cookie choice, your language choice and your planning setup.
• Google Analytics cookies, only after consent, for audience measurement.

No advertising cookies are used.

6. Data from Google Calendar (app)

If you connect your Google account to the NeuroFuel app (Pro and Expert plans), we request the “See, edit, create and delete all events on your calendars” permission (calendar.events). This permission is used solely to:

• Read the events in your primary calendar for the week being planned, so that your tasks can be placed around your appointments. Only the time and title are used, to show the slot as busy; they are not kept beyond that week’s schedule.
• Create, update and delete the events that NeuroFuel itself created (your work slots). NeuroFuel never changes an event it did not create.

Google access tokens are encrypted (AES-256-GCM) on our servers in France and are never passed on to third parties. We do not use this data for advertising, we do not sell it and no human reads it, except with your explicit consent for a support request or where required by law.

You can withdraw this access at any time from the app settings (“Disconnect”, with an option to delete the slots already sent) or from the permissions page of your Google account. NeuroFuel’s use of information received from Google APIs complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

7. Security

The website is served over HTTPS. Analytics data is stored by Google in accordance with its privacy policy. We take reasonable measures to protect the information you send us by email.

8. Data sharing

We do not sell, trade or rent your personal information. It may be shared only with your consent, to comply with a legal obligation, or with Google Analytics in anonymised form.

9. Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the following rights:

• Access: to know what data we hold about you.
• Rectification: to correct inaccurate data.
• Erasure: to ask for your data to be deleted.
• Portability: to receive your data in a structured format.
• Objection: to object to the processing of your data.
